Our Heritage
Vospers Funeral Home was established in New Plymouth in 1933 by Richard Cleave (Dick) and Phyllis Vosper. The original site was at 77 Devon Street East where the company remained until 1954 when it moved to new purpose built premises at 257 Devon Street East.
Howard, their son, served his apprenticeship in Hamilton and then returned to New Plymouth to work in and then later manage the family business. Howard is now retired.
